Rogue House and Authors For Charity has been helping teens with epilepsy since 2013 by sponsoring the activity club for teens with epilepsy. A big part of Jennifer Loiske’s royalties along with all royalties of Authors For Charity go to charity. The reason why the activity club has been chosen a part of their charity is that they think it is just as important to help teens with disabilities to go out and do normal things, than to help them medically. Sometimes things that are obvious for a healthy kid, such as friends, going to the movies, participating in parties, can be quite challenging for someone who differ from the others.
So bringing these teens together, helping them find friends and supporting their act of becoming independent has been Rogue House and Authors For Charity’s way of bringing a hint of magic into someone’s life. To show, they matter, and that there is life ‘outside of the four walls’.
So thank you, reader, for making this possible! Every time you buy a book published by Rogue House, you are helping us to help.
Authors For Charity will also donate all profits coming from their book, Tales of an Old Wizard, to Children’s Epilepsy Unit, in Turku University Hospital, Finland, until their second book, Paranormal Love, is published. After the publication the charity will be changed to help a cancer unit in Sussex, England.
